Welcome Suus, Hydryx's new Operations Engineer

Her background: a degree in Climate Econometrics and work experience building climate models. Then came several years at Dexter Energy in software development, where she learned to work through complex energy puzzles. It's a skill that's matches the complexity of optimising landfills.

Joining Hydryx meant a real switch: she wanted more hands-on work and that's exactly what she found. Since joining, Suus has made a flying start working alongside Derk and Dick. In her first month alone, she made two trips to Finland: she was part of the deployment at Kiertokaari and Salpakierto, and onboarded Biovoima as Hydryx's installation partner across the Nordics. The partnership ran smoothly enough that her Finland trips have already started slowing down.

Suus is now in charge of all of Hydryx's new deployments, so she's on the hunt for the next country to bring Hydryx to.

About Suus, Derk said,

Outside of work, that same instinct shows up everywhere. She renovated her own house last year and is still finding DIY projects to take on. She surfs whenever she can 🌊, which living in Amsterdam mostly means planning holidays around it and fills the rest of the week with running, cycling and football.
