We rocked the FD talent photoshoot

The phone rang. We answered. It was Het Financieele Dagblad (FD), one of the Netherlands’ most respected financial newspapers. They had some exciting news: Hydryx had been selected as one of the 50 most promising entrepreneurs under 35, recognized for making a real impact on the world.

Being part of the FD Talent Top 50 is quite the spotlight. FD looks for innovators who are shaping industries, pushing boundaries, and tackling global challenges. For us, it’s a recognition of how our simple idea, capturing methane from landfills, can grow into a technology that benefits both the climate and the energy grid.

The experience itself was a lot of fun. FD’s photoshoot team, Benning & Gladkova, have a unique style that made the session playful and creative, capturing not just our founder Joren, but the spirit behind entrepreneurship.

2025 was a milestone year. We raised 2.5 million euros, expanded our team from five to fifteen, and explored international applications with partners in France, England, and Finland. As FD put it: “It’s a local technology for a global problem.” Being featured reminds us that the work we love doing at Hydryx resonates beyond our team, and we’re just getting started.
